This is the recruitment thread for the clan Phenom. The requirements of joining and being a member of this clan are as follows:

1. You must present yourself as an intelligent, respectful, and imaginative gamer. Resourcefulness, decent attitude, and literacy a must.

2. You must listen to members of the clan designated as admins, and especially myself. This includes actually doing what we say. That doesn't mean you can't discuss it, but in terms of combat, our orders are law.

3. You must be at least level 25, any exceptions are by my personal lease ONLY. Also, you will be tested to ensure you meet the standards of I refer to as semi-pro or better. This is also my personal judgment call, as myself and/or the admins will discuss your candidacy before admitting you.

4. Hacking, and hacked maps are expressly forbidden in this clan. If you are caught, it is an insta-perma-ban from the clan, though we won't report you for playing in a hacked map.

5. Calling other members of the clan "nub" in any of its forms will not be tolerated. Excessive use of the word in reference to persons outside of the clan is frowned upon. In addition, insulting in other verbal and/or typed ways toward members of the clan with malicious intent is not acceptable. If you are caught speaking ill of another member of the clan, that will be one strike. Three strikes and you are out of the clan permanently. The clan admins and leaders reserve the right to ban any members for such conduct instantaneously. If the banning is instantaneous, your side of the story may be heard out and you may be accepted back into the clan, depending on how we perceive your story.

6. THIS CLAN IS ELITIST. We are friendly with everyone else, but there's a good reason this is an intelligence clan, and not some randomly created clan created purely for the sake of creating a clan. We are together because we are a little smarter than your average joe. You can't think you're smart, you have to KNOW that you are smart.

7. While not an actual rule, if you are leaving the clan for any reason, please leave a post on the member's board/in the clan chat thread explaining, or inform an admin before leaving so we know you haven't just randomly died or something. We would highly appreciate it.

8. The following post is an excellent example of something that will cause us to sit up and actually notice you.

I would be honoured to join a group like you. I am strongly against all the rubbish abbreviations like "omfgnub" and "kthxbai" and all that crap. In fact i find it ridiculous that people use symbols in their names.... I often wonder how many hundreds of variations of "Ķ-§T¥Łє" are out there and how many braincells the users have. Anyway, My main level is 38, Phasmena
I don't use this char all to much so I would prefer to enlist one of my others. Levels 22, 22 and 13. However, this is debatable.

I don't use the forums much, i prefer to play rather than talk about playing...

Things that made this post good: Stated the reason with detail as to why he/she wanted to join the clan, stated clearly whether she would be participating in the forum, and did not demand a tryout/attempt to pressure us into trying her out. Thus, this post is awesome, and preferable from all recruits whom do not normally attend the forums. But we still expect something of good quality like this from forum runners. This is the kind of post that makes me actually invite people whom have applied to tryout.
